BULGARIAN NETWORK FOR CITIZENS’ DIALOG

Bulgarian Network for Citizens’ Dialog is an initiative of the Red House for Culture and Debate in Sofia. The goal is to create a national network of organizations that strive to create an active citizens’ environment through open debates and discussions on publicly significant themes.

Part of our mission at the Open Arts Foundation is to work towards a better public environment and active citizenry through encouraging dialog in the cultural sphere. One such project was “А City Arbor”, organized jointly with the Artnewscafe and Studio 8 ½, which addressed problems in urban design through presentations and discussions.

We have been invited to take part in the Bulgarian Network for Citizens’ Dialog initiative based on this experience, formulating four topics that we believe will play a key role in the city’s cultural development.

Debates / Lotus is an initiative that strives to widen the room for debate in Plovdiv.
