THE ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF CULTURAL FESTIVALS

PILOT RESEARCH AND RESULTS NIGHT/PLOVDIV 2015

In September 2015, Bauersachs Foundation and Industry Watch Group Ltd. in partnership with the Department of Applied and Institutional Sociology at University of Plovidv and Open Arts Foundation conducted a study focused on the economic effects of services that have no commercial character. Case study of the survey was the cultural festival Night/Plovdiv, 2015. The methods used in the research are valuable for a wide range of users, including cultural operators, grant beneficiary, donors, media and active citizens.
