Visions of urban Life between Kino Kosmos and Markovo Tepe Mall

The Berlin based art group Club Real asks questions about the functions and possibilities of the growing number of half destroyed and half finished buildings in Plovdiv. While planing the silent decay of architectural elements from the time of communism like the Kino Kosmos and the memorial of fraternity, the city accepts monstrous investmentruins like Markovo Tepe Mall in an act of selfdestructing speculation. The discussion of this diagnosis is supposed to help answer the question what kind of city the Plovdivians desire and how to accomplish this vision.
