FLUCA in June

In June, FLUCA - Austrian Cultural Pavilion took its place in one of the busiest places in Sofia - the Crystal Park.

The program was opened on 2 June with the video selection of curator Naomi Lev - Escape Room, which was shown earlier this year at Time Square. Three of the presented works are by the Bulgarians Eva Davidova and Daniela Kostova, living and working for a long time in New York.

On 4 June, Ivo Dimchev presented his project The Complex Pussy Catalogue - a wonderful combination of live singing, projection, digital images that viewers created on their own and had the opportunity to print on cards.
Another interactive performance is that of Kamen Stoyanov (14 and 15 June). He presents PPP - created last year for the project Kunst Kebab - Museumsquartier, Vienna. Kamen manipulates the history of modern art, creating pizzas with artists' names. In a fun way, the audience learn more about them while eating.
Elizabeth Kostova Foundation for creative writing celebrates its 10th anniversary with a project that includes music, text and installation of the artist Svetlana Mircheva.

On 18 and 19 June FLUCA presents Plovdiv 2019 - European Capital of Culture. A program of Ars Electronica, Linz, one of the most important digital art festivals in the world, will be shown.

At the end of the program for June (30th) is 15 Minutes of Fame - a project of Open Arts Foundation and gallery SARIEV Contemporary, curated by Vera Mlechevska.
