The fifth edition of the Night of Museums and Galleries - Plovdiv takes place in 48 spaces with the support of 5 main partners. The first contacts between the Open Arts and the America for Bulgaria Foundation were taking place.
The dynamics of cultural events and the specific night atmosphere of Plovdiv of this unique event has attracted visitors from all over the country for years, not only art creators and art lovers, but also those who are looking for a first direct encounter with art and cultural heritage. NIGHT/Plovdiv is the shortest event from the Autumn Salon of Arts Plovdiv, which engages the entire art scene - from museums in the old town, through private galleries around the main street, to underground clubs in Kapana and closed type workshops.
Authors from the following countries were presented: Bulgaria, Kosovo, Serbia, Nigeria, Ireland, Austria, Romania, Germany, Poland, Korea, France, Italy, and Russia.
The programme contained a wide variety of challenging experience of the mind and the senses of the visitors. Some were the traditional photography contest “A night in Plovdiv” and the children’s art workshops, which provokes even the youngest to turn to art.
