Those wishing to participate in the programme of the Night are eligible to apply for co-funding of their artistic project proposal by filling in a detailed form. The main recommendation to the participants is to create a cultural product specifically for the Night The Fund covers up to 50% co-financing The evaluation of the projects is carried out by the base organiser Open Arts and the organisations supporting the Fund. The allocation of the FSP and the support for each project is announced each year, after the festival, on the Open Arts website.

During Night/Plovdiv, 2015, the Bauersax Foundation and Industry Watch Group, in partnership with the Department of Applied and Institutional Sociology at Paisii Hilendarski University of Applied Sciences and the Open Arts Foundation team, conducted a study on the economic effects of non-economic services, taking the Night/Plovdiv festival as a laboratory case study. This type of research has not been done before in the country, and the process of research, selection of methodology and questions, fieldwork and processing was between August and November, 2015. The results of the cost-benefit analysis show that for every BGN invested in holding Night/Plovdiv 2015, the revenue for the economy is BGN 4. See more here

- Diverse content - the profile of supported participants and projects is different, giving diversity in the palette of supported projects (visual art, music, performance, theatre, opera, film, etc.).
Museums Fund 2012
Open Arts Foundation and America for Bulgaria Foundation are pleased to announce the approved project within the framework of the competition of the platform "Fund Museums" 2012, which will be financially awarded, implemented and included in the official program of the "Night of Museums and Galleries - Plovdiv", 2012. The project of the Regional Museum of History - Plovdiv : "Night of retro photography in the museum" was unanimously selected by the Museums Fund 2012 because of its extremely rich and multilayered content. "A Night of Retro Photography in a Museum" will present: a working recreation of an old photo studio from the early twentieth century; a working photo lab and a collection of old cameras; original photographs and the realization of panels with images and texts - among the exhibits there are some not shown so far; panels for interpretations of images from the past on which students will create; multimedia screenings of original photographs from the city's past; reproductions of old postcards, etc.
The Museums Fund platform was created in 2012 by the Open Arts Foundation and the America for Bulgaria Foundation to financially support cultural projects to be initiated by regional museums and implemented in the main program of the eighth edition of the Night of Museums and Galleries - Plovdiv 2012. Invitation to participate was received by the Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv, Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv, Regional History Museum - Plovdiv, Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv, as well as the City Art Gallery - Plovdiv.
Projects from the Regional History Museum - Plovdiv, the Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv and the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv were sent to the Foundation's address by May 1.

The selection of the projects was made by the organizers of the Museums Fund - Open Arts Foundation and a representative of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. After a detailed discussion, the project of the Regional History Museum - "Night of Retro Photography in the Museum" unanimously won first place and will be implemented during the Night of Museums and Galleries - Plovdiv (September 21, 2012) and will receive financial support worth BGN 5,000.
