The creative showroom “Mobile academy” develops different formats of scientific meditation: theatre installations for representing memory, space and rhetoric, live events with the participation of 100 experts, film installations on the topic “Narratives about places, cities and territories” and together with this presents different models from archives of films and recordings. In 2012 one of the projects will be carried out in Plovdiv: “Black market for useful knowledge and non-knowledge”.
Vladiya Mihaylova, Kiril Kuzmanov and Vesselina Sarieva will make a presentation at Depo about their work on ‘Project 0′ they are realizing in collaboration with Open Arts Foundation in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
On 17 September 2011 the seventh Night of Museums and Galleries – Plovdiv took place. This year the event included 67 participants in a total of 67 locations. The Night consisted of three major programs: Museums and Galleries (respectively 29 locations), Culture and Club (18 locations) and The City and Public Places (21 locations).

The Open Arts Foundation, host and organizer of the Plovdiv Night of Museums and Galleries, announces an open call for proposals for the program “THE CITY AND PUBLIC SPACES”.
Following the presentations at the /+/ Sklada, Sofia, in the Night of Museums and Galleries, 2010, and at artnewscafe Plovdiv, Kiril Kuzmanov’s PROJECT 0 continues with an exhibition at „Suspacious”. It will feature objects and studies revealing the artistic idea and the development of the project, along with videos, audio recordings, texts and publications that present the participants, and the information publicized on the project until now.

The event opens one major theme, and the occasion is the old cinema Komsomol/Kosmos. The city council of Plovdiv recently voted the removal of the cinema building and its replacement by a multistory garage and a commercial-administrative building – may be the next Mall. This is happening in the very central part of Plovdiv, in immediate closeness to an old, once bourgeois residential neighborhood with narrow streets and emblematic architecture.
January 13th, 2010 gallery FEINKOST (Berlin) hosted a panel discussion „Between delay and transition - Contemporary Cultural Practice in Bulgaria“, a presentation of institutions, models and practices in the contemporary art landscape of Bulgaria. The event is a collaboration between the Art Today Association - Center for Contemporary Art, Plovdiv, Bulgaria; Sariev gallery - Open Arts Foundation, Plovdiv, Bulgaria; Goethe-Institut Sofia; and FEINKOST, Berlin.
