FUTURE UNFORGETTABLE - PHASE I - IN DEFENCE OF SOLID MATERIAL

The eventual manifestations of the phase interconnect into a visual environment themes and ideas characteristic of Bulgarian art, presented by the works of the announced authors and their artistic practices, such as: political opposition, institutional deficiency, institutional critique, models of institutionalization, individualism, the relation between name and institution and between body and institution, instrumentalization, operationality, expansion of the body, the body as instrumental and political entity, problems of representation, the oppositions “outside” – “inside”, “community” – “person”, tension and fragility of borders and last but not least – labor.

FLUCA presents: Poetische Tiere / Karine Fauchard and Lazar Lyutakov

The hermetic space of the Fluca container, designed to serve the transfer of developed industry goods on a global scale, will be turned into a place for an experiment inspired by archaic construction techniques with organic materials. Between rational and poetic, concrete and abstract, the indeterminate and the exact. A site-specific work by Austrian female artist Karine Fauchard and the Austria based artist of Bulgarian origin Lazar Lyutakov. Specially created for the space of Fluca – Austrian Cultural Pavilion, the exhibition will be their 4th collaborative project.
